<p>When you always feel like you don&#8217;t have any energy or feel drained it&#8217;s quite possible that you&#8217;re not getting enough vitamins. <p>The best way to discover your vitamin D standing is to take a vitamin D test, especially a twenty five hydroxy-vitamin D blood test. Your test results would then be classified by the lab into a vitamin D range.</p>
<p>Unless you are eating salmon, mackerel, sardines, or tuna daily, you don&#8217;t get sufficient amounts of vitamin D you may receive vitamin D in fortified foods like soy milk, soy cheese and cereals.</p>
<p>You may get a similar amount of vitamin D in a bowl of fortified cereal. That is&#8217;s half the RDA, and a measly one percent of the vitamin D your body will make on a 30 minute walk in the mid-day sun.</p>

<p>Though an adequate intake of 200-400 IU ( international units ) has been identified as the minimum amount necessary to forestall rickets and other deficiency sicknesses, perfect intake levels haven&#8217;t ever been established.
